SERVING SUGGESTIONS


COWGIRL CRACKERS (SAVORY): Use as a snack cracker or enjoy with a glass of wine or a tall frosty beer.  Serve with soup, salads, chili or add to meatloaf in place of bread crumbs.  Crush and use as a coating for baked or fried chicken or fish. 

COWGIRL CRACKERS (SWEETS)- A great party snack cracker or enjoy with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee.  Crumble crackers on top of plain vanilla ice cream for an AMAZING treat!

HULA-LA-LA CHICKEN SALAD MIX (HAWAIIAN BLEND W/CRANBERRIES)- Enjoy served on crackers, added to your favorite fruit or mixed green salad.  Grill on hot crusty sourdough bread, French or Italian breads. PUTS THE HULA BACK IN YOUR CHICKEN!!!

OLIVE DIP MIX- Make with our World Famous OLIVE N’ JALAPENO RELISH.  This outstanding dip may be served on crackers or baked on chicken or grilled fish.

PINEAPPLE JALAPENO DIP MIX- Make with our SWEET JALAPENO RELISH.  This delicious dip is great served with crackers at your next party, or stuffed inside grilled jalapenos.

PUMPKIN HOLIDAY DIP MIX- Serve at your next Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas get together. Makes 3 wonderful cups of PUMPKIN DIP.  Serve with gingersnaps, butter cookies or shortbread.

PINEAPPLE JALAPENO RELISH- Delicious added to your favorite BBQ sauce for grilling, pour over cream cheese and serve with crackers, great on hot dogs, pizza hamburgers or added to chicken or tuna salad.  For a tantalizing difference add to your family coleslaw recipe. 
 

OLIVE N’ JALAPENO RELISH: Our Signature Green Olive Relish is outstanding served over cream cheese or added to chicken, tuna or egg salad.  Add to cole slaw, deviled eggs or spoon onto baked or grilled chicken or salmon.   Try this relish on your favorite nachos.                                                                                                                                                         

HAWAIIAN HOT SHOTS –These crispy sweet jalapeno slices may be served over cream cheese or added to your cold cut sandwiches, hotdogs or hamburgers.  They make the best nachos you’ve ever tasted!


CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER- This traditional family secret recipe is available in three outstanding flavors:  Rocky Chocolate, Groovy Coconut and Butter Crunch (Caramel Toffee).  It is delicious with fresh apples, bananas, strawberries, graham crackers, pretzels or shortbread.  We never get passed eating it with a spoon!!  Makes a great teachers or neighbors gift.  

JALAPENO PICKLE MUSTARD
- Wonderful on sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, added to chicken or tuna salad.  Use as a dipping sauce for shrimp, eggrolls, chicken or fish tenders.  Delicious in place of tarter sauce with baked , grilled or fried fish.

Hot Rita’s Sports Fan Bean Dip

Featuring our Mexican Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning!


Ingredients:

6 oz. Salsa

15 oz. Refried Beans

4 oz. Whipped Cream Cheese

12 oz. Sour Cream

Entire package of Hot Rita’s Mexican Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning.  (You can also use our Rita’s Blend or Italian Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning)

1 small can of diced green chilies (drained)

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix together with an electric mixer until smooth

Pour mixed ingredients into an 8X8 or 9X9 baking dish

Top with 1 cup or more of Monterrey Jack Cheese

Cover with aluminum foil

Bake at 300 degrees for one hour

Serve hot with tortilla chips-ENJOY!!


                                                    

                              Hot Rita's Mexican Margarita Pita Chips

            Featuring our Mexican Margarita Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning
                                         

Ingredients:

1 package of pita bread (or 8 tortillas)

1 packet of Hot Rita’s Mexican Margarita Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning

½ cup of vegetable or canola oil

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 Degrees.

Using a pizza cutter, slice the pita bread into triangular shapes.  You can make them however large or small as you wish (You can also substitute 8 tortillas in place of the pita bread). 

Lay the triangles flat on a cookie sheet.  Make sure they do not overlap each other.

Measure out a  ½ cup of vegetable or canola oil in a 2-cup measuring cup.  Mix in the entire packet of Hot Rita’s Mexican Margarita Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning, stirring until dissolved.

Using a small basting brush, cover each triangle with the oil and seasoning mixture. 

Bake in the oven (center rack) for 8-10 minutes, or until desired crispiness is obtained.

Serve immediately.  These chips are wonderful dipped in guacamole, sour cream, salsa or ranch dressing. 

RITA TIP:  You can substitute any of our cracker and popcorn seasoning flavors to make these yummy chips!

                                    Chocolate Peanut Butter Smores

                  This Recipe features our Chocolate Peanut Butter Spread


INGREDIENTS:

  • Graham crackers
  • 1 Jar of Hot Rita’s Chocolate Peanut Butter
  • Large marshmallows

DIRECTIONS:

  1. SPREAD graham cracker square with about one tablespoon (or more if you like) of the chocolate peanut butter. Top with a marshmallow.
  2. MICROWAVE on HIGH (100% power) 5 to 10 seconds or until marshmallow puffs. Top with another graham cracker square that has a tablespoon of chocolate peanut butter spread on it. Serve immediately.  SO AMAZING!!!!

                                 Hot Rita’s Cheesy Italian Tomato Pie 

This recipe features our Italian Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning


Ingredients:

1/2 (15-ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts
1 small red bell pepper, chopped
½ red onion, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 large eggs

1 Package of Hot Rita’s Italian Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning
1 cup half-and-half
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
3-4 plum tomatoes cut into ¼-inch-thick slices

FIT
: pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish; prick bottom and sides of pie crust with a fork.
BAKE
: at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven; set aside.
SAUTE
: bell pepper, and onion in hot olive oil in a large skillet for 5 minutes or until tender. 

WHISK: together eggs and next four ingredients in a large bowl; stir in sauteed vegetables. Pour into pie crust; top with tomato slices.
BAKE
: at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until set, shielding pie crust edges with sheets of aluminum foil the entire time to prevent excessive browning. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Hot Rita’s Mango Salsa White Fish

This recipe features our delicious Mango Salsa Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning!

                      

                                    

Ingredients:

4 White fish filets (Halibut, Cod, Orange Roughy, or any white fish you like)

One Packet of Hot Rita’s Mango Salsa Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning

½ cup of vegetable or canola oil

Sea salt

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

Measure out ½ cup of the vegetable or canola oil in a 1 cup measuring cup.  Add the entire package of Hot Rita’s Mango Salsa Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning into the measuring cup with the oil.  With a fork, mix these together very well.

Place your washed fish filets into a pan and pour the seasoning mixture over them.  Place foil on top of the pan and place in the oven for 25 minutes.

After they are done cooking, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over each fish filet before serving.  Serve this wonderful fish with asparagus and risotto.  Delectable!!

Hot Rita’s Pineapple Jalapeno BBQ Brisket

This recipe features our Pineapple Jalapeno Relish!



Ingredients:

2.5 lb- Beef Brisket (trim off the fat if you like)
18oz- Bottle of BBQ Sauce (any brand you like)
1 Jar-Hot Rita’s Pineapple Jalapeno Relish
1/3C-Beef Broth
½ of a small onion chopped
2-Cloves of Garlic (Minced)
1t-Salt
Banana Peppers (use as a garnish when serving)
6-Kaiser Rolls (Or bun of your choice)

Directions:

Cut the brisket up into large chunks and place in a Crock-pot.  Pour the 1/3C of beef broth over the brisket.  Add in your chopped onion, garlic and salt.  In a bowl, stir together your BBQ sauce and entire jar of Hot Rita’s Pineapple Jalapeno Relish.  Take this mixture and pour it into the Crock-pot. 

Cook on High for 6 Hours. 

Give it a stir 3-4 times throughout the 6 hour cooking period to break up the brisket into smaller pieces.  However, stirring is not mandatory. 

To Serve:

Scoop out the brisket mixture from the Crock-pot onto your Kaiser rolls or bun of your choice.  Garnish with additional slices of onion and banana peppers if desired.  To complete your meal, serve with creamy potato salad and crisp coleslaw.  Now this is good eatin’!!!!!

Hot Rita’s Smokin’ Raspberry Chicken

This recipe features our Smokin’ Raspberry Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning!





Ingredients:

2 to 4 boneless chicken breasts

½ Cup of vegetable or canola oil

One package of Hot Rita’s Smokin’ Raspberry Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning

Sea salt

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

Measure out ½ cup of the canola or vegetable oil in a 1 cup measuring cup.  Add the entire package of Hot Rita’s Smokin’ Raspberry Cracker and Popcorn Seasoning into the measuring cup with the oil.  With a fork, mix these together very well.

Place your washed chicken breasts into a pan and pour the seasoning mixture over them.  Place foil on top of the pan and place in the oven for 25-30 minutes. 

After they are done cooking sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over each chicken breast before serving.  Serve this delicious chicken with a tossed garden salad and hot fresh bread.  SCRUMPTIOUS!!

                                             Hot Rita’s Olive and Jalapeno Cornbread

This recipe features our Olive and Jalapeno Relish!



Pre-Heat oven to 400 Degrees

 

In a large bowl mix together the following dry ingredients:

1 & 1/2C – Stone Ground Cornmeal
1C – Flour
1T- Brown Sugar
1t- Salt
1T- Baking Powder

Add the following to your dry ingredients:

2-  Large Eggs
1-  Stick of Butter (Melted)
1 & 1/2C- Whole Milk
ENTIRE Jar of Hot Rita’s Olive and Jalapeno Relish

Mix Well and pour into a greased 9X9 baking pan (a 10 inch round iron skillet is preferred)

Bake 20-25 minutes or until brown on top

Serve with your favorite chili, gumbo, jambalaya or a hearty soup or stew

You won’t find a better cornbread recipe on Earth!!
